Cades Cove in the Snow
February 11, 2010
The Park Service treated the road and allowed us in about 11:00. The cove was a winter wonderland,
and the animals were out catching the sunlight. We counted 189 deer, two coyotes, and
numerous turkeys. It was perhaps the best trip through the cove we have ever experienced, and we've
been through some 90 times in recent years.
